Shelby Herman is SAB Capital’s Office Manager, responsible for the operational efficiency of our headquarters, executing company events, and providing overall team support – all crucial to fostering a seamless, positive work environment.
Before working at SAB Capital, Shelby provided her expertise to a New York-based community solar farming start-up, Common Energy, as their office manager and supported various San Francisco-based VC/Private Equity firms. As a graduate of the University of South Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Shelby was led to her career in Real Estate by her drive to grow and challenge herself to improve companies’ workspaces and culture. Shelby finds this drive by consistently working alongside highly motivated individuals who produce exceptional results.
Shelby’s favorite part of the job is inspiring her colleagues to feel supported and welcomed and honing in on creating a sustainable and eco-conscious work environment. Outside the office, you’d find her thrift store shopping, trying a new restaurant with her partner, Brendan, or going on an urban hike through an unexplored NYC neighborhood.
