Job Description:

As the Retail Leasing Broker (Director) – Team Leader at SAB Capital, you will have the unique opportunity to build and lead a brand-new retail leasing division. You will be instrumental in establishing our presence in the market, assembling a team of leasing professionals, and developing a strategy to capture prime retail leasing opportunities. This role requires a visionary leader with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, a deep understanding of commercial real estate, and the ability to build and inspire a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Building: Recruit, hire, and onboard a team of retail leasing professionals, creating a cohesive and high-performing unit.

Market Entry: Develop and execute a market entry strategy, establishing relationships with clients, property owners, and tenants.

Client Engagement: Cultivate and nurture client relationships, providing expert guidance on retail leasing strategies.

Market Analysis: Conduct extensive market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and competitive properties.

Negotiation: Lead lease negotiations, ensuring the best terms for clients, and oversee the preparation and execution of lease agreements.

Strategic Planning: Develop a comprehensive strategic plan to grow the retail leasing division, including marketing and business development strategies.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

Proven experience in retail leasing with a strong track record of successful transactions and client relationships.

3+ Years of Retail Leasing Experience

Real Estate License or Broker’s License.

Visionary leadership with a passion for building something bigger than themselves and leading teams.

Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.

Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to drive innovation.

Compensation:

Commission only.  Draw based on experience, as needed.
